It’s hard to believe it but, here at k:SPA, we’re celebrating 11 years of making people feel good about themselves and the world around them. Evolving into skin specialists as our journey from dream to reality began to take shape, we’ve accomplished a lot over 10+ years of life and come a very long way indeed from our humble beginnings.
The birth of the k:SPA philosophy
Our founder, Kelly Shaw, originally had her heart set on traversing the oceans and seeing the world aboard cruise ships. But, leaving this as an aspiration unrealised, Kelly found alternate means of travelling the world and, after ditching designs to become a cocktail maker, set about training as a Beauty Therapist. Growing in expertise across all areas of health and beauty practice, the decision to open k:SPA back in 2008 gave Kelly the chance to oversee her own salon and instil a team within it that followed one overarching philosophy: to provide health treatments in a holistic way, putting an individual’s needs, wishes and circumstances at the forefront of each procedure.
k:SPA quickly differentiated itself from other salons by researching the needs of its clients to continue to provide the highest-quality health and beauty treatments, growing into the passionate, people-centred salon it is today. k:SPA’s focus on listening carefully to every individual client has helped many people bring a sense of balance to their lives whilst enjoying visible, long-lasting results.
Time to celebrate
To commemorate 11 years of k:SPA’s peerless quality and expertise, we’re proud to announce a series of offers to mark a month of serious celebration.
On November 1st, we’ll be offering 10% off all products purchased, in-salon or over the phone, as well as double loyalty card points on all treatments booked that day. The first day of the month will also see some changes made to our existing loyalty card scheme, with loyalty card points now being obtainable as follows:
- 1 point per £1 spend on treatments
- 2 points for every £1 spent on products
- 100 points when referring a new customer
- 50 points for leaving an online review
At 200 points, loyalty card customers will be eligible to start claiming rewards, with more points equalling an increase in the size of the reward on offer. Moving through the point scale, these rewards start off as add-on treatments, such as eyebrow waxes and neck and shoulder massages, and can, with an increase in points, become advanced treatments such as eye lifts or LED light therapy.
Rewards also take the shape of travel-size and full-size products, including the Dermalogica range, dependent once again on the number of points collected.
A final November-only offer also comes in the form of the k:SPA birthday combination treatment. An hour-long, one-off procedure that comprises both facial and back massage, this bespoke offering is, in keeping with the k:SPA philosophy, tailored to the needs of each individual customer. Recipients also receive double points on the k:SPA loyalty scheme and a free treatment-enhancing gift worth £10.
